Stamp out rural crime event - Brize Norton

An event to encourage farmers and rural businesses to protect their property and fuel tanks is being held on Thursday 28 July at Brize Norton.

Organised by the West Oxfordshire Community Safety Partnership, the event aims to raise awareness of common issues faced by those living or working in the countryside.

The event will run in two informal drop-in sessions at Elderbank Hall, Station Road. The first is between 2pm and 4.30pm and the second between 6pm and 8pm. Chief Inspector Colin Paine will open the evening session with an overview of rural crime in the district.

During both sessions, Commercial Fuel Solutions will be showcasing a series of theft prevention fuel tank alarms and locks.
